MOTOCROSS

When the cat's away the mice will play.....While me and Stetson were in Oklahoma last week Skylar went out and bought Stets a motorcycle---with training wheels! I had no idea they even made them for kids that small...WHAT THREE YR OLD needs a motorcycle?!? Like I said I had no part in it but I have to admit it has been fun and I love riding it too!! It is much more stable than his little four wheeler, although the only person to wreck the four wheeler has been my big brother Cody!!! Cod maybe when you come visit again you can take a ride on the motorcycle and keep all four wheels on the ground!

All of these pictures were taken out back behind our house on the track Skylar and Justin built for Stetson. They are busy working out there right now adding little hills in various places so I will post more pictures when they get it done!

Oh and don't get too mad at Skylar for going out and buying a motorcycle without asking me...I came home to a different BIG BOY motorcycle in the garage and couldn't figure out what had happened while I was gone?! Did he SERIOUSLY buy both HIM and STETSON one while I was gone and was I going to have to kill him for doing so? Nah...he sold his motorcycle the day I left and bought a new one that was cheaper and not as nice just so he could have the extra money to buy this little one for Stetson. See why I love this man so much?

OOOKKKLAHOOOMA!

Me and Stetson just got back from spending a fun filled week in Oklahoma with Annilee and Cole and their cute kiddos! We did sooo many things that I don't know where to begin with the pictures?!? I figured with Oklahoma being in the middle of no where that we would be spending lots of time just hanging out at home but there is sooo much to do there that we were busy every day...

Cole introduced us to Braum's and we had ice cream there one day. Stets made quite the mess!

The weather was beautiful for the most part and the kids spent many hours enjoying the sunshine, popsicles and watermelon. You can see Kidder dog in the background enjoying it all too!
Stets picked out these Utah shirts at the airport for Tylie and Teigen and they loved them! Stets was so proud that when Tylie and Teigen thanked me for the shirts and gave me hugs Stetson piped up, "I got those. They are from me!"

Pics from the Oklahoma zoo. That was the COOLEST zoo ever....and it was HUGE! The Kid area alone was three acres and filled with stuff for them to do.

Cole tried feeding Stetson to the pigs but they weren't interested!

This was the Jump Zone that we took Stetson to one day while the other kids were at school. He had so much fun here! There were other kiddos playing and he quickly made some new friends to hang with for the day.

Stetson's favorite thing was to ask ANYONE to take him for a ride on the scooter around "the doughnut" AKA the circular driveway across the street. Uncle Cole was a good sport and took him on many rides. Thanks Cole!
There's a really nice park in Annilee and Cole's neighborhood so we made a few trips there after school.
Tylie and Stetson painted the back porch for HOURS and loved it! Stets can never walk away from painting without being covered from head to toe himself!
Pictures before church. Don't those boys clean up nicely?
Just the girls...and Stetsie man!
More zoo pictures. This was in the bird house which was AMAZING. Birds were everywhere and landed anywhere they pleased. The kids had nectar to feed them.

The kids playing around in the kid area...
The second night there we left the boys home while just us girls went to see The Last Song with Miley Cyrus--it was really good! This was the nicest theater I have ever been to equipped with a fireplace outside the restrooms and the popcorn was TO DIE FOR!
The kids have an area at their school where parents can meet them for lunch whenever they want. We picked up some Mickey-D's on Friday afternoon and ate lunch first with Teigen and then with Tylie. Stetson cried when he found out McDonald's had given us a GIRL toy in his happy meal on accident. He wasn't too happy with the pink mermaid but a mom sitting at a table by us felt bad for Stets and gave him a Sonic toy that was for BOYS ONLY she said. What a sweetheart!
I so want to redo my room in hot pink, black and turquoise after seeing Tylie's adorable room.
The Easter bunny had left a basket full of goodies for Stetson in OK too. Can you say SPOILED? He loved it!
We had soooo much fun and we were both EXHAUSTED when we got home! Stetson crashed on the airplane before it even took off and he slept the entire flight from OK to Denver which was relaxing for me too! He was such a good sport on ALL of the airplane rides and I was so proud of him. THANKS for everything Nanny and Cole and for letting us stay in your home for a week. We love you all and can't wait to see you again!

Spending time together...

We had our first cookout in our yard this year!!! We made tinfoil dinners with hamburger, onions, potatoes and carrots and it was soooo YUMMY! We will have to cook up some s'mores soon because I have been craving them too! Stetson is already living outside from sun up til sun down and though I don't like scrubbing the bathtubs CONSTANTLY from all the extra dirt--we are loving being able to be outside during the day.
Stets went to two Easter egg hunts this year and he was SO excited! Since my odd child doesn't eat any candy he came home with 48 eggs!!! The funny thing is we ate them ALL...ha ha. These pictures are from the hunt at grandma Chelle's house.

Here's his little stash from the Easter bunny... He had so much fun searching all over the house to see where the Easter bunny hid his basket but we found it behind his bedroom door sitting in his Lightening McQueen camping chair.
Here he is rearing and ready to hit the town Easter egg hunt the day before Easter!
We went ice skating for my niece Brinkley's birthday at the end of March. It was warm outside but it was chilly on the ice. Stetson did really good and was doing it all on his own by the end of the party so we are planning on going again soon. Skylar was in Oklahoma so he missed all of the fun but the two of us had a blast trying something new together. This is only the second time I have been ice skating and it was Stetson's first.
There were barettes in the gift bags for EVERYONE...LOL
There's the birthday girl in pink sitting by Stetson...
Brendon LOVED the cupcakes as you can see! Happy Birthday Brinkley and thanks for inviting us to your party!
We spent the day on Saturday cleaning and organizing our garage but it didn't really matter what we were doing because it was sunny outside and it was sooo nice! Here's some pictures of me and Stetson after church on Sunday "racing" down the driveway on his scooter and plasma car...GOOD TIMES! We tried to get Skylar to join us but he insisted that he wouldn't fit on the car. Oh and FYI--scooters and high heels are a dangerous mix!

A little bit of this and that!

Stets and Berkley love to lounge around the house in the morning watching cartoons and "snuggin". Berk is such a good dog and is always game for anything Stetson wants to do!

While Stetson slept peacefully on St. Patrick's Day some leprechaun's came into our house and left a couple fun surprises for him!
There was a trail of green suckers and chocolate left from the couch (where Stets was sleeping) to his bedroom floor.

Although Stetson did eat ONE piece of the chocolate he refuses to even try the suckers but he LOVED the green milk they left for us!! Let me tell you green milk makes one nasty colored chocolate milk mixture but Stets didn't care, he loved it anyways!
Here's my little munchkin at McDonald's playing under the hand dryer. Some people's children!!

He is one funny kid. I mentioned earlier he wouldn't touch the suckers the leprechauns left him which is nothing new at our house because he will not even TRY candy except chocolate and the chocolate has to be PLAIN or M&M's. He gags when he sees anyone chewing gum which is rather embarrassing and yesterday he called my sister up on the phone and said, "WHY DID YOU SEND ME CANDY IN THE MAIL"?? He was quite frank with her in letting her know he didn't like the candy...lol No worries because I ate the candy he got =)

He is still a garbage disposal when it comes to eating food though so we don't push the candy AT ALL. Yesterday we went out to breakfast as a family and he even ate the mint garnishes they put on his pancakes! He will sit down and eat a whole bundle of cilantro and ask for more. I am so proud of my little veggie monster and maybe I could learn a thing or two from him when it comes to candy!

He's still a guy...

Well my hubby turns the big 2-8 today! We have been together eight years now and I still thank my Heavenly Father every day for sending such a wonderful man to be my husband and the father to our children. He has been a blessing in my life for as long as I can remember and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

With that said...every time I hear Brad Paisley's song, "I'm Still A Guy" on the radio it makes me think of Skylar and I always laugh out loud while driving along. Anyone who knows Sky knows this is his THEME song! Here ya go honey!

When you see a deer you see Bambi and I see antlers up on the wall. When you see a lake you think picnics and I see a large
mouth up under that log. You're probably thinkin' that you're gonna change me. In some ways well maybe you might. Scrub me
down, dress me up, oh but no matter what remember I'm still a guy.

When you see a priceless French painting and I see a drunk naked girl. You think that riding a wild bull sounds crazy and
I'd like to give it a whirl. Well love makes a man do some things he ain't proud of and in weak moment I might walk your sissy
dog, hold your purse at the mall but remember I'm still a guy
.

I'll pour out my heart, hold your hand in the car, write a love song that makes you cry. Then turn right around knock some
jerk to the ground 'cause he copped feel as you walk by.

I can hear you now talkin' to your friends sayin', "Yeah girls he's come a long way from draggin' his knuckles and carryin'
a club and buildin' a fire in a cave." But when you say a back rub means only a back rub then you swat my hand when I try.
Well now what can I say at the end of the day,"Honey, I'm still a guy."

And I'll pour out my heart, hold your hand in the car, write a love song that makes you cry. Then turn right around knock
some jerk to the ground 'cause he copped feel as you walk by.

These days there's dudes gettin' facials, manicured, waxed and botoxed. With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands you
can't grip a tackle box.

Yeah, with all of these men linein' up to get neutered it's hip now to be feminized. I don't highlight my hair, I've still
got a pair.Yeah, honey I'm still a guy.

Oh my eyebrows ain't plucked there's a gun in my truck. Oh thank god, I'm still a guy.
