We went back to the vein specialist with Stetson today to get his leg, bum and toes checked out. Telangiectasia is the term used to describe his veins and that means: plural tel·an·gi·ec·ta·sias or tel·an·gi·ec·ta·ses /-t&-"sEz/ 1 : an abnormal dilatation of capillary vessels and arterioles that often forms an angioma. Everything went well and he is doing great! The Dr. took more pictures of his leg and toes and compared them with the pictures we took 6 months ago when we went and the group of veins behind his knee have darkened but the other groups look better than they did and unless they ever bother him, we don't have to go back again! Luckily, he said since they are superficial veins, even if a blood clot does develop, it wouldn't be too worry some! YEAH! I am so proud of my little guy! We were at the Dr. office for over an hour sitting and waiting but he was pretty good. He messed his diaper two times during that hour though!!
For those of you who don't know, Stetson was sitting Indian style crossed legged inside the womb so he didn't have very good circulation down his entire left leg and foot and that is how this all started. Even though I am sure later in life they will be embarrassing to him, they can be removed when he's older and considering he learned to crawl and walk without any complications, (which is why we started seeing the Dr. in the first place), he should be in the clear for problems related to this and we hopefully don't have to worry about it anymore until he's old enough to decide to get that he wants them removed!!
Grandma J.T. came along to help me out today and I was so glad to have her there when we had nothing to do but sit in the room for an hour and entertain Stets.

That is crazy. I have never heard of that. I am glad that it doesn't hurt him or anything. Your mom is still as beautiful as ever. Thankgoodness for our moms huh.
Yeah we go to the dr on mon. I have been laying him on the other side as much as i can, it looks tons better but, we will just have to wait and see. its not just a flat spot its unsymmetrical and that is what worries me. I guess blake went to sv with skylar. he said that he is a dang good kid and always liked him. it's a small world huh. where are you guys at?
